Samuel has just finished playing one of Charles Dickens’ most loved leading men, Pip, in Theatre Lab Company’s OffComm-winning production of GREAT EXPECTATIONS at The Playground Theatre London.
Previous to this he starred in the one man show VIVALDI MEETS WERTHER: FOUR SEASONS at the Bridewell Theatre. During this run Samuel performed sections of the performance live on BBC Radio 4 alongside the string quartet that accompanied the performance.
Touring Film Festivals around the world this year with the short film PLUNGE that he co-directed, co-wrote and acted in. He was recently awarded Best Director by the Top Indie Film Awards as well as commendations for Best Drama at both the New Renaissance Film Festival and the Winchester Film Festival. Samuel’s previous short films are PAY THE FERRYMAN and the BFI Sci-Fi Fest finalist WEAK EXECUTION.
Television work include the BBC’s GREAT EXPECTATIONS and the Doctor Who special AN ADVENTURE IN SPACE AND TIME.
