Jane Merrow

She was the first female student at The National Youth Theatre, later trained at RADA.

Was chosen by Peter O'Toole to play Alais in the film THE LION IN WINTER opposite O'Toole and Katharine Hepburn, She was nominated for a Golden Globe for the film.

Acted for Hammer Films in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA directed by Terence Fisher and HANDS OF THE RIPPER directed by Peter Sasdy.

Played the lead in Michael Winner's THE SYSTEM with Oliver Reed.

Other films and television work followed CATACOMBS director Gordon Hessler, NIGHT OF THE BIG HEAT director Terence Fisher. ASSIGNMENT K , THE WILD AND THE WILLING ,  HORROR AT 37.000 FEET.

Her great many American cult television credits include series such as THE INCREDIBLE HULK, THE SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN, MISSION IMPOSSIBLE, BARNABY JONES, MAGNUM P.I., POLICE WOMAN, HART TO HART and AIRWOLF.

Recent stage productions include playing Vivien Leigh in a one-woman show in Atlanta and playing Emilia in Shakespeare's THE COMEDY OF ERRORS with the Idaho Shakespeare Company.

She has recently been acting, writing and produced several films BEWARE OF WHAT YOU WISH FOR, THE YELLOW WALL PAPER and her latest and highly praised short film COUGAR.

Jane has just completed the short film ABOUT ANDY, which she wrote and acted in.
